With a history spanning more than a century, Harrison College has a long tradition of professional education. The school began as a business college, but its academics have since grown to include a variety of subjects. At the Indianapolis Northwest College, these subjects include: * Information Technology * Health Sciences * Veterinary Technology There are nearly 10 programs in total, leading to certificates, associate's degrees and bachelor's degrees. Regardless of how long you intend... to study, Harrison College's Indianapolis Northwest campus has a program to suit your needs. The Indianapolis Northwest location teaches all of its programs on campus. However, the school aims to provide multiple learning formats, and many programs are also available online. Unlike many for-profit vocational schools, Harrison College offers a variety of financial aid opportunities. In addition to federal support like work-study and need-based grants, the school funds a limited number of institutional scholarships to those who qualify. Some of these include the High School Scholarship, the Charles Cring Adult Learner Award and the President's Scholarship. Harrison College's admissions involve a three-step application process. After a meeting with a program specialist, you must fill out your application and take the SLE exam. Upon successful completion of the exam, you're ready to register for classes. Harrison College campuses are accredited by the Accrediting Council for Independent Colleges and Schools to award Certificates, Diplomas, Associate of Applied Science, Associate of Science, and Bachelor of Science degrees. The award level varies by campus.
