HEFRING MARINE
Hefring Marine's solution is a cloud-based telematics and sensory guidance system for vessels. It helps operators navigate difficult conditions by monitoring and processing a vessel's movements and presenting a guidance safety speed. Fleet managers or vessel owners can monitor vessels in real time and receive automated trip reports. The system reduces the likelihood of accidents and injuries, structural and equipment damage, and improves efficiency. Hefring Marine is based in Reykjavík, Icela... nd. The company launched the first version of its system in March 2020, which is sold on a 6- or 12-month subscription basis. The system is primarily in use with tactical and rescue operators, but the company is expanding into other industries, such as commercial vessels, yachting and recently, unmanned surface vessels. Hefring Marine is currently developing systems of a greater intelligence designed for higher autonomy levels, but the company now focuses on both the manned and unmanned vessel sectors. In addition to safe operation and fleet management, upcoming features will focus on fuel efficiency, weather routing, stability guidance and planning, as well as maintenance planning and operator training.
