HERITAGE CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY

As its name suggests, Heritage Christian University seeks to prepare its students to be evangelical servants of Christ. Much of this preparation comes from the service opportunities and mission trips that form the foundation of student life at HCU. All students at the university must participate in at least two hours of ministry per week. HCU’s Christian focus permeates its academics, as well. Required courses in Christian theology and the Bible help to develop your faith, while the universit... y’s emphasis on “Real-World Ministry” encourages you to put what you’ve learned into action. Heritage Christian offers undergraduate and graduate degree programs. Distance learning is available for those who’d like to study online, and the Accelerated College Education program is a great way for those with secular bachelor’s degrees to gain a Christian education. Undergraduate admissions deadlines for HCU are June 15 for the fall term and November 8 for the spring. Make sure to submit your official high school transcript and standardized test scores, along with your scholarship application if you’re interested in financial aid.
