Highsoft AS is the company behind the Highcharts product family. Offices are located in Vik i Sogn, Norway, a beautiful small town surrounded by mountains and fjords. Highcharts has quickly become the industry leader in standards-based JavaScript charting, and has since its launch in 2009, remained the premier and fastest-growing charting tool in a competitive market. The company enjoys the support of a vibrant community of web developers. As of 2016 there are nearly 1,500 projects on Github based on Highcharts, with over a million code-references to Highcharts across Github projects. Clients include over 70% of the world's largest companies, along with thousands small and medium sized businesses. As of 2016 the team consists of 20 people out of which 10 are engineers.
