Highway 50 Gold Corp.'s exploration strategy is based on recognizing the deep crustal architecture of north-central Nevada and its relationship to the location and deposition of Carlin-type gold deposits. Their geological team is focused on north-central Nevada. and is directed toward finding large Carlin-type gold deposits. They believe that such a discovery will most likely come from focusing on gaining geologic breakthroughs. North-central Nevada is where their knowledge base has led to suc... cess for the team in the past, and where proprietary breakthroughs can lead to subsequent success for Highway 50. Nevada is a mining friendly jurisdiction with secure title and stable business environment. It is also where Management has a long history of dealing with both public and private mineral tenure. Highway 50 does not employ a strict model to mitigate risk. The inherent risks associated with each project are assessed on a project by project basis. Subject to available resources, some projects may be operated on a farm-out basis. We believe risk is best mitigated by employing strict criteria before the acquisition of a property. A number of gold companies currently operate large mine complexes in north-central Nevada. They are highly motivated to keep these operations profitable, avoiding the costs of reclamation. As such, history has shown that valuations of significant gold discoveries in Nevada compare favourably with any jurisdiction in the world. Because of the attendant infrastructure, the discovery threshold for financial success is lower then many other areas. Recently the Company has expanded its search area to the Aldridge Formation of southeastern British Columbia which hosted the Sullivan mine that operated for ninety-two years from one of the world's great Pb-Zn-Ag deposits. Management has over thirty years of exploration experience in this area. The current focus is the Monroe property where drilling has led to significant new insights suggesting the presence of a large hydro-thermal system with attendant ore-stage fluid flow on the property.More
