Hindustan Zinc is a Vedanta Group company in zinc, lead and silver business. They are one of the world's largest integrated producers of zinc and are among leading global lead and silver producers. They are one of the lowest cost producers in the world and are well placed to serve the growing demand of Asian countries. Hindustan Zinc is a subsidiary of the BSE and NSE listed Vedanta Limited (ADRs listed on the NYSE; earlier known as Sesa Sterlite Limited), a part of London listed diversified metals and mining major, Vedanta Resources plc.
