HONEYCOMB HIVES

Honeycomb Hives are similar to other beehives worldwide in that they use removable comb frames for easy hive inspections and management. There are five Honeycomb Hive types and all share exchangeable Hexagonal Smart-Frames. Somewhat like Top Bar hives, these hives have a horizontal, rather than vertical, orientation. This means beeks are lifting frames instead of heavy supers. Honeycomb Hives frames can also be easily inspected with one hand.
