HUSTON-TILLOTSON UNIVERSITY
Located in the dynamic city of Austin, Texas, students can explore the excellent academic programs and vibrant student life opportunities at Huston-Tillotson University. Founded as a black college in the Christian tradition, students of all races are now welcome to promote diversity and spiritual awareness. Huston-Tillotson University is an HBCU. Bachelor’s degrees are awarded in several disciplines and concentrations of two academic colleges: the College of Arts and Sciences and the School o... f Business and Technology. Students are encouraged to take advantage of several academic and student life activities. Study-abroad opportunities are available to most students, and exceptional students are encouraged to participate in the W.E.B. DuBois Honors Program. Student services such as a health clinic, academic workshops, career advising, veterans services, and counseling are available to all students. Religious groups, student organizations, and athletic teams are prevalent, while residential life is encouraged. Financial aid advising is available to all students who seek help paying for tuition. Federal grants and scholarships are awarded for students who qualify. Huston-Tillotson University is an institution that promotes endless possibilities, and encourages students to reach for their dreams.
