At the end of September 2016, RINA acquired a minority stake in IB to integrate consultancy services with advanced software tools and innovative technologies in order to support shipowners' operations. Today, the two companies together are providing world-class customers with the right mix of skills, quality and response times that ensure high quality standards and competitiveness. At the beginning of 2016 after several years of collaboration, IB acquired the majority of JTech, software company specializing in developing enterprise software solutions. In September 2015, together with Zucchetti, the first software group in Italy, IB set up Zucchetti Facility, a newco specialized in the production of energy software solutions, plant maintenance and facility maintenance in the mass market industry.More
