VIPSY
Vipsy is an app that brings you great nights and event experiences in your area, for free or at reduced entry. Users choose from a list of events in their area, and claim a free entry pass or other offer from the venue. They show this pass (a QR code) on entry. We provide value to venues by driving footfall to their events, creating massive social media engagement, and building a marketing database. Vipsy launched as InForFree, a web-only product in 2012 in Dublin, Ireland and accumula... ted almost 200,000 signups by the end of the year, with venues listed across the country. In 2013 InForFree expanded to Northern Ireland (U.K.), and summer saw the launch in the party capital of the world, Ibiza. A survey by The Student Network in early 2013 showed that InForFree had achieved 85% market penetration with students, it's most popular user group. In September 2013, InForFree launched a mobile app on iOS and Android, reaching #1 position in Lifestyle (iOS) and #25 overall, in Ireland. In 2017 Vipsy maintains top spots in the app charts and is the go-to app for going out in Ireland, while gaining traction in new markets such as the UK and US.
