INSTITUTO TECNOLOGICO DE CHIHUAHUA
The Chihuahua Institute of Technology is a scientific and technological higher education institution. The Technological Institute of Chihuahua was born on September 26, 1948, when Mr. Manuel Gual Vidal, Secretary of Public Education and Mr. Fernando Foglio Miramontes, Constitutional Governor of the State, laid the first stone of what would be the facilities of this Institute. The construction of the buildings began on November 13 of the same year, with the engineer Alfredo Guevara Cepeda, the contractor and the engineer Jesús Roberto Durán the resident engineer. On October 9, 1948, the Ministry of Public Education formalized the appointment of Mr. Gustavo Alvarado Pier as Director of the Technological University of Chihuahua.
