Ivanhoe Industries Inc. is a foam control agent company that specializes in antifoams, emulsifiers, hydrophobic silica, and release agents for fermentation, food, and non-food applications. They use a variety of milling equipment to make emulsions or finely disperse solid particles in various types of carriers, and they combine antifoam formulas in small and big batches. They run a number of hot oil and steam reactors with various auxiliaries and sizes, giving us a wide variety of capabilities and flexibility in producing nonionic surfactants and hydrophobic silica on a pilot and large scale. For its hydrophobic silica, Ivanhoe has two packaging facilities that can make both tiny kraft bags and huge bulk bags of product.
