IVL SVENSKA MILJöINSTITUTET
The IVL Swedish Environmental Institute was founded in 1966 by the state and the business community jointly with the purpose of conducting research on industrial air and water conservation issues. Today we are an environmental institute that focuses on far more than that. Common to all our assignments is an interaction between both ecological and economic and social perspectives. Here are now 300 engineers, behavioral scientists, chemists, marine biologists, geologists, political scientists, journalists, business developers and economists, to name a few. We also have a strong specialist expertise - almost a third of our employees have a doctorate.
