JOBS HATCHERY

Jobs Hatchery is a non-profit Tennessee corporation with the mission to connect people with jobs and to create jobs. We facilitate monthly networking meetups to help entrepreneurs connect with resources and practice their pitch. We publish a weekly e-newsletter Prayer Blast to help motivate people to be self-sustaining and reach for success, however they define it. To date, we have funded one loan to a start-up company which is being repaid at 3% interest plus 2% royalties for a 10 year period. ... Funds were loaned and used to purchase a carpet cleaning business in October of 2013. The company began paying royalties to Jobs Hatchery in December 2014. Loan repayment will begin in April 2015. Money received by Jobs Hatchery for loan repayments and royalties are used to fund other deals that create jobs. To date Jobs Hatchery has been seeded with personal funds from Nita Black and her company, MAP Momentum. Jobs Hatchery operates with no paid staff and little or no overhead. The current project under consideration is known as Hot Flash Diva (www.HotFlashDiva.com). Hot Flash Diva was created by Jan Fox. Ms. Fox owns a registered trademark on the name Hot Flash Diva. She has created over 70 original cartoons. Hot Flash Diva is a character representing the alter-ego of all women, particularly women experiencing menopause and symptoms such as hot flashes and mood swings. Jobs Hatchery is assisting Hot Flash Diva in all business matters to leverage the website and develop a line of products, including a Hot Flash Diva doll.
