JOHN KASPER MINNESOTA VIKINGS

John Kasper grew up in a small town, but he had a lot of success in football. Out of high school, he was recruited by the University of Iowa to play the said sport as well as track and field. He then later did the same for Upper Iowa University when he transferred universities. After graduating with a degree in physical education and health, John went to the Central Missouri State University to get his master’s in athletic and sports business administration. He paid for graduate school by ... becoming an assistant football coach for the university. In 1999, he joined the Minnesota Vikings coaching staff as an assistant strength conditioning coach. He was with them for two seasons before he decided to try competing in sports again. Unfortunately, after one year of competing, his knee could not keep up because of previous injuries, and he was advised by a surgeon to retire. From then on, he established a career in the medical sales industry. He held important positions for companies like Synthes Spine, Medtronic, Berchtold, and Hill-Rom.
