KidsLink is an invitation-only social + cloud app for privately sharing and storing important family memories, documents, and milestones—offering a parent simple and complete control over what she shares and what she keeps private. Through the KidsLink app,... a parent can be herself, saving photos and stories for each child’s lifetime “highlights reel” in the KidsLink Storyboard while safely sharing with 20+ real friends/family. She can also digitally capture, organize, and share papers, such as artwork, birth certificates, immunizations, report cards, and physicals in the KidsLink Vault, all on a smartphone. KidsLink puts the power in a parent’s hands to decide whether each item should be private for her and a spouse, shared with trusted real friends on KidsLink, or broadcast out to the world over Facebook or Instagram. After nearly two years of market research and development, KidsLink pilot-launched its iPhone app in Atlanta, Charlotte, and Charleston in late September 2014. Since then, the company has been focused on improving the onboarding experience and attracting influential seed users market-by-market.
