Kyocera Solar, Inc. (KSI) is a vertically-integrated producer and supplier of solar energy products. It manufactures solar energy panels for both residential and commercial use, which are designed to convert sunlight into electricity. Kyocera Solar, Inc. was founded in 1975 and is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona with regional sales centers in the U.S., Brazil, and Australia. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Kyocera International, Inc. of San Diego, the North American headquarters and holding company for Kyocera Corporation, based in Kyoto, Japan.
