A Christian Brothers Catholic school, La Salle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, continues its history of providing rigorous liberal arts academics and student service opportunities. La Salle has also grown to include more progressive programs to meet the needs of students in the 21st century. La Salle delivers undergraduate programs through the School of Business, the School of Nursing, and the School of Liberal Arts and Sciences, which grants degrees in such disciplines as: *Art His... tory *American Studies *Communications *English *Philosophy *Psychology *Social Work As a way to accommodate the current trends in employment and technology, La Salle has also started offering degrees in such fields as Integrated Science and Digital Arts and Multimedia Design. Other more progressive offerings include adult degree programs in such fields as Computer Technology, Criminal Justice and Nursing, which, to accommodate the lifestyle of working adults, are delivered through weekend and evening courses. La Salle also has graduate programs, many of which take place overseas in such countries as Greece and Switzerland.
