Students looking to complete the training to earn a bachelor’s of science in nursing in as little as 16 months can at the Lakeview College of Nursing, in partnership with the Easter Illinois University, in Danville, Illinois. College life services and activities are available so that you can simultaneously foster personal and professional growth. Although a Nursing institution, you can join the Student Government Association and attend cultural and recreational events at nearby colleges and u... niversities. Lakeview admissions require students to have satisfactorily completed 60 credit hours of general education and prerequisite courses, at least 45 of which must be finished before enrollment. Students have the option of completing coursework at another school and transferring to Lakeview. The academics at Lakeview stress hands-on training in clinical sites throughout the area, including hospitals, clinics and health care agencies. The college is committed to expanding knowledge of medical sciences by participating in numerous research opportunities that explore conditions like test anxiety.
