LASERSAUR
lasersaur is an open-source laser cutter that applies electromagnetic radiation to work pieces. It is designed for makers, designers, architects, and researchers. It can be used to cut cardboard, plywood, multiplex, acrylic, leather, foam, canvas, felt, and other types of material. lasersaur is generally controlled through the LasaurApp web application that runs on the Lasersaur, which can also run locally on the userโs computer. The app streams G-code to the controllerโs low-level firmware which does the time sensitive motor control. lasersaur was developed by NORTD Labs and is manufactured in Innsbruck, Tirol, Austria.
