Lendle is an online platform that enables users to share and borrow Kindle books. The platform requires individuals to sign up to extend their lending and borrowing to an online community of global readers. Users have to register the books they possess and request loans in turn. After a lending period of 2 weeks the books are returned to their original owners. Lendle also works on Kindle applications running on other devices. Lendle was launched in February 2010.
