LIFE SKILLS EDUCATION

Life skills education program has been delivered by us in england and to british forces children overseas for over 10 years. Their programs started life as a partnership between D.A.R.E. america, nottinghamshire police, and mansfield district council. After the initial pilots, D.A.R.E. (UK) grew into its own company with the support of those organizations, eventually becoming life skills education a community interest company and recently gaining charitable status. They now design, update and de... liver their programs which are aimed at pupils aged 9-16 years, across the whole of england, who are susceptible to becoming addicted to or dependent upon drugs, alcohol, or tobacco. By developing the decision-making skills needed to make informed decisions, they help the young people who go through their program to achieve their full potential, by making safe and healthy choices around risky behaviors. They also train teachers to deliver their program and supply evaluated resources for them to use.
