Litchfield Communications, Inc. (LCI) was founded in October 2000 by Steve Watts, Dave Danenberg and Tom Johnson. LCI shareholders include Kodiak Venture Partners, Commonwealth Capital, PMC-Sierra and Venture Tech Alliance (the investment arm of TSMC). LCI's mission is to be a premier supplier of standards-based semiconductor technology, reference designs, and support software for the next-generation of networking equipment with a principal focus in emulation of non-IP protocols over packet-switched infrastructures (such as MPLS, Optical Ethernet, Resilient Packet Ring, and IP).
