LITERRATER
Literrater is a social network that has a community that attempts to connect readers and writers as a book is being written. This is to allow writers to focus on writing their book instead of writing it in isolation. Literrater appears to apply a startup mentality to writers, providing them with a means to get feedback and test ideas early so that the author can pivot early. It also lets authors gain traction on the writing as they write, potentially converting those contributors/readers into fu... ture consumers. Literrater also has social features for readers that are very similar to Goodreads, with the exception of the rating system. The rating system is from 1 to 100 and also allows users to rate or find a book by characteristics such as action, romance, mystery, quirkiness or mature attributes like sex, violence, profanity or horror. As with most social networks Literrater has user profiles and an activity feed based on the people someone has followed.
