LITTLE BIG HORN COLLEGE

A public, two-year institution, Little Big Horn College (LBHC) provides a liberal arts education with a focus on the culture of the Crow Indian Tribe. Most of the students who attend LBHC are members of the tribe and live in the Crow Agency area of south Montana. The school is situated near the beautiful Little Big Horn River and has spacious, updated campus facilities to enhance learning. Certificate programs and associate’s degrees offered at LBHC include: * Agriculture (Livestock Manag... ement) * Business Administration * Crow Studies * Early Childhood Education * Human Services * Information Systems * Liberal Arts * Mathematics and Science Some academics are even available online through the college’s distance education program. Through an entirely web-based curriculum, students can take classes in Computer Programming, Web Design and more. There are many campus activities to keep students busy when they are not studying and focused on academics at LBHC. College life offers opportunities to get involved in cultural events, health and fitness, recreational activities, and sports teams. LBHC has a special Green House Project as well, which is maintained by students to help them learn about economics and environmental sustainability efforts. Applying for admissions to LBHC requires that applicants have a high school diploma or GED, and that they submit a copy of their official transcripts. They may also need to take a placement exam to determine aptitude in basic areas such as reading and writing. There is no application fee to apply. Federal financial aid programs to assist with the cost of tuition are administered at the school for those who are found eligible.More
