Living Goods believes that the poor are not helpless victims; they are resilient entrepreneurs and value conscious consumers. They need better opportunities to grow their incomes and better access to products that improve their lives. Living Goods supports networks of ‘Avon-like’ micro entrepreneurs who go door-to-door teaching families how to improve their health and wealth while selling ... life-changing products like simple treatments for malaria and diarrhea, fortified foods, water filters, clean cook stoves, and solar lights. Living Goods seeks nothing less than a disruptive reinvention of how the poor access vital goods and services, leading to significant gains in health and wealth for families throughout the developing world.
