LOS HéROES

Los Héroes is a non-profit private law corporation that is part of the Chilean Social Security System. Born in 1955 on the initiative of the Metal and Mechanical Industries Association (Asimet) to manage the benefit of family allowance within that sector. Currently, Los Héroes has an innovative portfolio of products and services aimed at solving part of the needs of affiliates, among which are: Social Credit, Higher Education Credit, Scotiabank Mortgage Alliance, Home Insurance, Life Insuran... ce, Secure Walk Insurance Pensioner. On the other hand, Los Héroes provides transactional services to public and private institutions, such as: the Social Security Institute (IPS), Fonasa, Pension Fund Administrators (AFP) and Insurance Companies. An important part of the resources generated through the products, services and transactions granted by Los Héroes allow the delivery of health benefits, education, recreation and cash bonuses to members. In its origins, the organization operated with 20 companies and 6,000 members. Along with providing services to its affiliates, starting in 2011 Los Héroes began to provide assistance to the beneficiaries of the Social Security Institute and pensioners from the private pension system, which made it one of the most important social security institutions in the country .
