Louisville Bible College (LBC) in Louisville, Kentucky, offers Christian-oriented degree programs. Whether you wish to be a minister or a teacher, you will get the professional skills and the Biblical foundation needed to be a strong, Christian leader in your profession. LBC awards undergraduate and graduate degrees, both on campus and online. Undergraduate programs include bachelor’s degrees in: * Preaching * Family Ministry and Counseling * Christian Education * Sacred Literatur... e * Christian Education * General Studies Student life is mainly committed to fostering spiritual development. Students receive spiritual mentorship and may attend lectures, chapel services and other religious events. Undergraduate admissions requirements include submission of an application, pastoral, personal and academic references, and transcripts or GED scores. SAT and ACT scores are optional. LBC also administers entrance exams, which test an applicant’s knowledge of the Bible, as well as academic skills. The financial aid department awards various types of financial aid that students do not need to pay back. These include senior citizen grants, grants for spouses of students, tuition waivers and work-study money. LBC also offers scholarships; criteria for these include age, financial need, demonstrated religious commitment and academic performance.
