Torus Labs, Inc. is a small software studio that specializes in computer graphics and high performance computing. We are based in East Palo Alto, CA. Our business is a mix of consulting and original product development. At Torus Labs we believe that better programming practices result in better software with fewer human resources. We advocate automated testing, detailed internal documentation, and thoughtful design. Our weapons of choice include C, OpenGL, and Linux, but we dabble in all sort... s of languages and platforms. Lately we've been focusing our attention on the web. Principal & founder, Greg Prisament, draws on years of professional experience as a developer at Insomniac Games and then NVIDIA. At Insomniac he contributed as a gameplay programmer to four AAA game titles in the Ratchet & Clank series and Resistance: Fall of Man. While at NVIDIA and later as an independant contractor, he worked with the Khronos Group to define mobile graphics standards. He is listed as a contributor to the OpenGL 3.0 specification and authored several EGL, OpenGL ES 2.0, and OpenMAX extensions. Greg graduated magna cum laude from Princeton University with a bachelor's in computer science. Greg has had a lifelong passion for programming and graphics.
