MACKENZIE ELVIN
Fiona Mackenzie is the founding principal of the firm. It was while she was pushing her firstborn in a pram past the villa in the early 1980s on her way to a rugby game at the Domain that she had the idea that perhaps she could balance motherhood with her legal career if they bought the villa to live in, and work out of. And so it transpired. In 1991 Fiona was joined in the business by her husband Graeme Elvin, a well-established commercial lawyer, and shortly after by Marcus Wilkins, also ... an experienced property lawyer. The burgeoning business was located in Cameron Road for a few years before returning to its current location. Fiona, Graeme and Marcus have continued a strong partnership over the years and now have a team of more than 20 people at Mackenzie Elvin, including part-timers. Meet “Their People”. The partners and staff all bring different strengths to the business and there is an emphasis on collaboration and tailoring solutions to people’s specific needs.
