MARYLAND PROTON TREATMENT CENTER
MPTC provides patient care by offering a system of image-guided proton therapy and intensity-modulated proton therapy. Proton therapy is an advanced and precise form of radiation to treat cancer. With proton therapy, patients have a new tool in the cancer-fighting toolbox. MPTC offers the most advanced form of proton therapy called pencil beam scanning. This technique is effective for a wide variety of solid, localized tumors in adults and children. Headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland, MPTC was founded in 2011.
