It is owned and operated by Jonathon Matlach; FAA-DER (designated engineering representative). Matlach Investments has already secured business with several clients. Matlach Investments offers engineering services including FAA approval of repairs and PMA parts delivered within critical client timelines. Jonathon Matlach has over 10 years of experience developing repairs and parts for... aircraft engines. These repairs and parts have ranged from simple dimensional restoration repairs to complex section replacements. In addition, Jonathon has worked as a business partner advising companies on a variety of FAA regulations and engineering best practices. Aerospace shops require FAA approved repairs and parts in order to offer unique solutions to their customers. In order to gain FAA approval, shops require FAA DERs to review and approve this data. Due to the fact there are only 90 DERs worldwide available to perform this activity, the availability of this resource is scarce and in high demand since the aerospace industry as a whole is growing with new engine platforms. Matlach Investments will establish an initial base of projects through Jonathon’s personal connections within the aerospace Industries. These connections have already pledged support through letters and emails indicating a willingness to utilize DER services. Matlach Investments will focus on face to face communication to maintain and gain new customers.
