MAXIPOS
Maxipos was founded by two university friends who had a burning desire to start their own business together. After finishing their degrees at Oxford, one of them went to work for L'Oréal, the world's largest beauty company, as a marketing management trainee. The other joined his sister's fledgling internet company, which would soon become one of the major players in the dotcom boom. Both learned a tremendous amount in a short period of time, frequently being thrown in the deep end by their employers and expected to not only float but also succeed. Despite working twelve-hour days, the friends would get together most nights to talk about what business they might start one day.
