MEDICAL PREPARATORY SCHOOL OF ALLIED HEALTH

The Medical Preparatory School of Allied Health offers medical assistant training that incorporates extensive clinical experience and gives students the chance to work with top medical professionals. Located in San Antonio, Texas, the school’s medical assistant program takes ten months to complete. During that time, students study primarily under practicing medical doctors and nurses. Academics integrate many aspects of the medical assisting field, including anatomy and physiology, medical bi... lling and coding, medical law and ethics and career development. They will need to submit an admissions application and also take the TAVE entrance exam and pass a background check and a drug screening. The minimum required age for admissions is 17.
