Mentr's mission is to create an online and mobile platform that connects people with a desire to learn different skills or trades with those that have mastered them. The theory being - the ultimate shortcut to success in anything in life or career is mentorship. We believe everyone has the ability to teach something valuable and that people in general have an inherent love of learning. Mentr is designed to combine the fun, social networking aspects of apps like Bumble and Shapr, with learning ... platforms like Udemy, Upwork, and Skillshare. The core concept surrounds the notion that apps already exist allowing people to monetize their tangible assets (like Turo, Uber, Airbnb, etc), but there aren't many platforms that give people the ability to monetize their intangible assets like skills/knowledge/experience. Udemy and Masterclass are tremendous forums, however, 90% of people nearly never finish those courses much like don't online classes. We are committed to building an ecosystem for mentors and mentees to connect in a fun, meaningful, and rewarding way.More
