MIDWEST RADIO NETWORK

Midwest Radio Network was established in 1938 in New South Wales, Australia. The group’s Australian radio network includes heritage station 2LT at 900AM, on-air since 1939 and Move FM at 107.9. The network is testing broadcasting operations in the Blue Mountains, west of Sydney. Two FM frequencies 101.1 FM and 99.5 FM are to be formally inaugurated once testing is complete, tower works where the antennas are sited are finished, and final technical operating conditions are determined by the bro... adcasting regulator, the Australian Communications and Media Authority (ACMA). This is expected to be in 2018. The group through associate company Big News Network additionally holds a 10% interest in Ireland's FM radio network iRadio which broadcasts on frequencies of 96.9, 102, 104, 105 and 107 covering the Northwest area of Ireland including Galway, Sligo, Mayo, Leitrim, Roscommon, Longford and Donegal, and the Northeast & Midlands area which covers Kildare, Meath, Westmeath, Laois, Offaly, Louth, Cavan and Monaghan. While the company is involved in regional radio broadcasting in Australia and Ireland, globally it runs a string of 180 online newspapers covering major regions, countries, cities, U.S. states, business and entertainment. The company’s digital inventory which originated in 2002 includes Herald Globe, Asia Bulletin, The US News, Business Sun, Los Angeles Herald, North Korea Times and Europe Sun.
