MILE HIGH HEALTH ALLIANCE
The Mile High Health Alliance is a member-based nonprofit that is building a coordinated, collaborative, unified voice for the safety net in Denver. We work with our diverse coalition partners to improve access to care and quality of care for the un- and underinsured, as well as for the one-third of Denver residents who are enrolled in Medicaid. The Alliance was established in 2015 through a community stakeholder process, which identified the following priorities: 1) First Access to Care (outreach and enrollment, health and insurance literacy, and entry into care) 2) Specialty Care Access for Underserved Denver Residents 3) High Utilizers of the Health Care System 4) Integrated Physical and Behavioral Health Care
