Milepost Ventures, previously Viridian Capital, was a venture capital firm specializing in investments in information technology, healthcare and life science companies founded or run by women entrepreneurs or that distribute primarily to women for investment. They preferred to invest in the western part of the United States but invested nationally. It invested between $100,000 and $1 million in a first funding round and invested up to $2 million over the investment life cycle of a portfolio company. Milepost Ventures was based in San Francisco, California.
