MILES COLLEGE
Miles College in Fairfield, Alabama, is a historically African-American, Christian liberal arts college (HBCU) that offers a holistic approach to learning in an intimate setting. Miles College awards degrees through more than five academic divisions. These divisions include: * Business * Education * Humanities and Social Sciences * Social and Behavioral Sciences Miles College generally keeps its student population well below 3,000 students. Consequently, students get substantial on... e-on-one attention in small classes. Miles College also offers a holistic approach to education. That is, they believe in nurturing the student intellectually, physically, spiritually and socially. Miles reflects this mission in its academic programs, and in its student services, which offer health, mental health, academic and spiritual support. Applicants may obtain admissions applications by contacting a Miles College admissions representative. Applicants should have completed a college-preparatory curriculum that includes courses in English, the sciences, math and history. Those who wish to apply for academic scholarships will also need to submit ACT or SAT scores. In addition to scholarships, Miles College awards need-based federal aid like grants, loans, and work-study. To apply for federal aid, applicants must complete a FAFSA.
