MINDLANTIS
Mindlantis - an online virtual world built from the ideas of children. Mindlantis is a massively multiplayer online game (MMO) involving a virtual world, containing a range of online games and activities. Players use avatars and the aim is to rebuild the long lost world of the Fireheart nation. The building blocks for that world are the ideas of children and their creative work which they share with the community through specially designed MindQuests. MindQuests inspire children to share the... ir ideas and to come up with solutions for specific challenges in the categories of Art, Life, Inventor and Pioneer. These can be ideas for new types of houses, vehicles, clothing, education, games, short films; whatever a society needs. The Mindlantis community then votes on which idea should come to life. The winning ideas and creative work of children are then further developed by professionals and accessible in the world of Mindlantis. In that way Mindlantis is constantly expanding and inspiring children to explore their creative abilities and to share their ideas.
