Minnesota State University at Morehead is part of the Minnesota State Colleges and Universities (MnSCU) system, a sprawling educational network that includes nearly 55 campuses throughout the state. Minnesota State at Morehead is among the oldest of the MnSCU institutions, with a history spanning over 125 years. MSUM prides itself on being one of the least expensive universities in the state. Among these is the Access Scholarship, which awards full tuition to multicultural students who have faced obstacles to reach higher education. The university’s liberal arts-based academics include over 60 majors.
