MISSION
Mission is a marketplace software company founded on the belief that online retail should be more purposeful and relevant. We designed and developed a solution to bridge and connect the consumer directly with local merchants. Mission enables people to instruct and describe to the Mission app/software/call centre what they are looking for or could be interested in finding/buying. Once captured that information (data) is relayed via our platform to local (neighbourhood, city) merchants that have s... igned up for the Mission service and are deemed qualified (via our algorithm/vetting) to hold and curate the products/services solutions. The Mission vendor platform enables local merchants to send back product recommendations (via web product pages, pictures, videos, …) to people via the Mission app/website interface, along with providing direct chat capabilities to help people hone in on finding exactly what they are after. The Mission platform will also enable people to transact and complete purchase online. Mission’s goal is to harness the power of merchants back towards the consumer and scale to every major city in the world providing a consistent, hyper local and personalized way to find and shop for item across all categories, even when you travel abroad.
