MOREHOUSE SCHOOL OF MEDICINE
Morehouse School of Medicine in Atlanta, Georgia, offers a medical degree program and master’s degrees in research areas and other fields. Morehouse School of Medicine also has a particular commitment to educating minority students. Morehouse School of Medicine is an HBCU. Morehouse offers medical degrees with specializations in such areas as: * Family Medicine * Internal Medicine * Obstetrics and Gynecology * Pediatrics * Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences * Surgery Medica... l students complete clinical assignments at one of several medical hospitals with which Morehouse is affiliated. Morehouse also offers a master’s in Public Health and a graduate program in Biomedical Sciences. Morehouse’s research centers conduct research in such specialized areas as: * Cardiovascular studies * Neuroscience * Health disparities Admissions requirements vary with each program. Applicants to the MD program will need to complete an application and submit MCAT scores and letters of recommendation. Morehouse offers scholarships for disadvantaged students as well as academic and merit scholarships.
