The company focus is the development of ARTUS, a new and unique implantable device for the treatment of stress urinary incontinence. Stress urinary incontinence is a condition that affects millions of people around the world. ... Unfortunately, currently available products are old with significant limitations such as tissue erosion, infection or mechanical failure leading frequent re-operation. ARTUS is made of smooth and flat silicon cuff placed around the urethra. It is individually actionable and adjustable with a remote control allowing patients easy voiding and the surgeon monitoring and adjusting the cuff. This device is the first artificial urinary system specifically designed to include the treatment of female patients who account for a vast majority of the urinary incontinence market.
