NAMI NORTH CAROLINA
NAMI North Carolina provides support, education, advocacy, and public awareness so that all affected by mental illness can build better lives. NAMI NC is also a membership organization and is a part of the National Alliance on Mental Illness, the nation’s largest grassroots mental health organization dedicated to building better lives for the millions affected by mental illness. Their support groups can provide an opportunity to talk with other people who have “been there” and who understand what they are facing. NAMI also hosts an annual conference, regional conferences, CIT, and other NAMI programs.
