NATIONAL ASSOCIATION OF BROADCASTERS

The National Association of Broadcasters is a trade association that represents the interests of free over-the-air radio and television broadcasters. It is comprised of radio and television stations and networks. The association is focused on lobbying the federal communications commission (FCC) for regulations favorable to the radio and television industry; maintaining a favorable legal, governmental, and technological climate for free over-the-air broadcasting; providing legal guidance to ... NAB members; protecting the industry from the inroads made by cable and satellite television; offering broadcasters a variety of programs to help them grow in their careers, promote diversity in the workplace, and strengthen their businesses; and more. The National Association of Broadcasters was founded in 1922 and is headquartered in Washington, D.C.
