At National Career College students get training for in-demand medical careers as well as access to student support services both while in school and after they graduate. Located in Van Nuys, California, within a half hour of downtown Los Angeles, National Career College is easily accessible by public transit lines as well as by freeway. Programs of study include professional preparation programs in: * Dental Lab Technology * Massage Therapy * Medical Assisting In addition to profess... ional skills training, students get coaching from career counselors who help them with interviewing, job searching, resume writing, how to follow up with a prospective employer and how to keep a job once hired. National Career College also provides a service to graduates, allowing them to retake a course in order to refresh their skills, and at no extra charge. In order to be considered for admission, applicants must submit an application with an application fee and transcripts and complete an interview with a National Career College representative. Specific departments may have additional departments. Need-based financial aid is awarded through Pell grants, loans and work-study. Those who do not qualify for these sources may apply for private loans and scholarships.
