NATIONAL CENTER FOR SCIENCE EDUCATION
The National Center for Science Education (NCSE) is a non-profit organization that combats the anti-science movement in the public sphere. It acts as a central information and resource clearinghouse for the promotion of science, and helps coordinate the activities of people fighting anti-science in public education. It claims 4,500 members that include scientists, teachers, clergy, and citizens of varied religious and political affiliations. The National Center for Science Education was incorporated in 1983.
