NEW ECHOTA BIOTECHNOLOGY

New Echota Biotechnology develops an intracellular “cargo delivery system,” using peptides that can penetrate cells. It is designing these cell-penetrating peptides to deliver molecular payloads into living cells. Such technology has broad applications. It could be used to deliver cancer therapeutics or antiviral treatments for other illnesses. Or it could be applied to other gene therapies or used as a research tool or health diagnostic to highlight specific cells. Launched out of Kennesaw State University, New Echota Biotechnology is seeking several patents for the company’s innovations.
