NEW YORK ACADEMY OF ART

The New York Academy of Art in New York, New York, provides a visual arts education centered on figurative drawing, painting and sculpting. It strives to produce students who can master these disciplines and, ultimately, create works of vital contemporary art. Admissions require students to complete an application, a one-page statement of educational objectives, a portfolio of no more than 20 pages, two letters of recommendation and official transcripts.
